A warm welcome awaits you at Loughcrew Megalithic Centre where we provide a unique base to explore the history, nature and adventure of Loughcrew and its surrounding area. Guests who stay with us can walk to the Ancient Loughcrew Cairns and enjoy panoramic views of Ireland in peaceful and tranquil surroundings.
Yurts can provide the same comfort as a hotel or cottage but in an incredibly unique and natural way. We are proud to say our yurts are built and furnished to a very high standard. The inner layer of each yurt is beautifully decorated with golden fabric walls and ceilings. The crown of the roof allows natural light in leaving the space bright and airy during the day, while at night you can just lay back and view the night sky.
Each yurt can sleep up to 5 people. 1 luxury king size bed, 1 double sofa bed, and a single guest bed. Wake up to the sounds of nature and the earthy smell of native flora and fauna. Relax on site or spend the day exploring Loughcrew and surrounding areas. Unwind at the end of the day watching the sun go down behind the Loughcrew hills. Then its time to cozy up in front of the wood burning stove surrounded by twinkling fairy lights. Perfect for couples, families, and friends looking to escape to nature in a fun and glamorous kind of way.
