SITE RULES - GLAMPING

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A FAMILY SITE AND HAVE A QUIET TIME OF 11PM. GUESTS WHO BREACH THIS RULE WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITHOUT REFUND.

 

  • No Noise Between 11pm and 8am. 
  • All Guests Must Check In Upon Arrival (not after setting up)
  • No Group Bookings
  • Pets Are Not Allowed in the Glamping Area
  • Smoking Is Prohibited in the Yurts
  • Fires/BBQs Are Provided And Must Be Raised Off The Ground
  • Portable Speakers/Loud Speakers are not Permitted
  • No Commercial Vehicles
  • Children Must Be Supervised At All Times
  • No Hen/Stag Parties

Management reserve the right to refuse entry or cancel booking during your stay in the event of any of the above or if we feel that the comfort of other guests is put at risk.

 

PAYMENT, CANCELLATIONS AND DEPOSIT POLICIES

Upon booking you will be charged a 50% deposit. This is a non refundable deposit.

The remaining balance must be paid in full at check in.  Please do not ask staff to allow access to the site without full payment as refusal may offend.

If you cancel your booking within 14 days of your arrival Or if you do not show for your booking, you will be charged the full amount. 

Covid 19 - If your booking needs to be cancelled due to government restrictions on travel you will be offered an alternative date.

 

CHILDREN

Children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians at all times.

 

RUBBISH

To help the environment please recycle all glass, cardboard and household refuse in the appropriately marked bins. Please help keep our site clean and tidy, littering is forbidden anywhere on the site (this includes cigarette butts). Our bins are located in our car park area.

 

GENERAL/LIABILITY

All vehicles/caravans/personal items are parked/left on site at the owners own risk. The management accept no liability for loss or damage while you are parked on the site.

 

Glamping FAQS

Q. What time is Check in/Check Out?

 Glamping - Check in: 4pm. Check out: 11am

Q. Is there electricity in the yurt?

Yes there are 2 electric sockets in each yurt.

Q.Is bed linen provided?

Yes, all bed linen is provided, however you need to bring your own towels and toiletries

Q. What should I bring?

Glamping is glamourous camping so many of the items you need for camping will come in useful for glamping also!

Some things that come in useful while glamping are; warm clothing, blankets for relaxing around the fire pit, wellys/water proof shoes, small torch, cool box, cutlery/plates/glasses etc… some games and most importantly, a big bag of marshmallows for roasting!

Q. Is there a stove in the yurt?

Yes there is a wood burning stove in each yurt. There will be kiln dried firewood and kindling in the yurt when you arrive. It is very important that only kiln dried firewood is used in the stove. It is not to be used for burning papers/rubbish or other fuel. More wood and kindling is available to purchase on site.

Q. Is there a campers kitchen?

Yes there is a communal kitchen. There are 2 gas hobs, 2 sinks, kettle, a freezer (for ice packs only), seating and small supply of cutlery, plates, cups, pots, pans etc. We recommend you bring your own equipment

Q. Is there a fridge?

Yes there is a communal fridge for essential items available for glamping guests in the campers kitchen.

Q. Are dogs allowed?

No dogs are not allowed in the yurts or the glamping area

Q. Are campfires/bbqs permitted on site?

Yes but only if they are raised off the ground in a purpose built device (provided) and supervised by an adult

Q. Are your showers and toilets open during covid.

Yes they are open.

Q. Is there a toilet in the yurt?

There are communal toilets and showers in the glamping area.

Q. Can I book over the phone?

No. We only accept bookings through our website.

Q. Is there a games room/playground?

Yes. Fusball, Air Hockey, Pool and Playground

Q. Can my friends pitch their tent beside my yurt?

No we do not allow tents in the glamping area.

Q. Do you accept hen/stag parties?

No we do not accept any group bookings including hen/stag parties
