Loughcrew Megalithic Hostel on Airbnb

Our hostel is located beside our Heritage Cottage, coffee shop, event hall, camper van site, campsite and of course Loughcrew Cairns. This allows guests to explore these prehistoric settlements at any time of the day. Visitors get a chance to see Passage ways lit by the sun in the during the Equinox or sit in the Hag’s Chair at sunset.
There are plenty of rooms including a fully functional kitchen, a common room with TV and board games. A utility room with laundry facilities is on hand if needed. Free parking is provided along with information about the surrounding area. Breakfast can be purchased in the coffee shop next door. Playground and picnic benches can be found beside the coffee shop courtyard.

We are located on the hills beside the highest point in Meath facing north. This high vantage point gives wonderful views of Oldcastle, Cavan and Mullaghmeen forest in Co. Westmeath. Nestled in the farming hills of Loughcrew it offers a quiet refuge and beautiful evenings to lay back and enjoy the scenery.

Loughcrew Megalithic Centre hostel is a quaint cottage converted to offer single, double or dorms rooms. Lockers are provided in each room. Linen is included in each room type.
