Here at Loughcrew is the ideal place to start your exploration of Ireland's Ancient East. The megalithic cementary is older than Newgrange and holds many similarities but yet there is striking differences in the artwork and layout of the tombs. The ideal time to visit is in March or September when the morning sun illuminates the backstone for the days of the Equinox.
Our centre provides accommodation for people looking to explore the many ancient, medieval and modern sites that make up the story of the people of Ireland.
